howtogetpregnanteasyI have wanted to become a mother since I was a little girl. So when my husband and I were married, we didn’t wait! However,  I’ve never in my wildest dreams would have imagined I would be asking for advise on how to get pregnant easy. Life is definitely full of challenges. It took me over a year to finally conceive and in that journey to pregnancy, I’ve realized that although the process is instinctive, you can actually help Mother Nature with procreation.

For women who’d like to raise their chances of conceiving, I’d like to share with you these 3 tips on how to get pregnant easy that have worked for me.

First, listen to your body. As a woman, I’ve learned to pay attention to my body and so should you. A little research on pregnancy introduces you to the ovulation method. That might sound too big or too complicated for some; it’s not. What it basically teaches is for a woman to learn to be so attuned to her body that she knows when her most fertile times of the month are. This involves a little bit of work. Learn to chart your ovulation cycles and pay attention to your basal body temperature so you’d know when your chances of getting pregnant are highest.

Secondly, mind lifestyle. Yes, besides being an overall mental and physical health hazard, stress negatively impacts your fertility and chances of conception. I’ve noticed that when I’m overly stressed in any given month, my period comes late. When I don’t get enough sleep over a period of time, it delays my period, too. But this is hardly surprising. Our bodies need adequate rest to function well. It’s important to keep stress levels down and find time to relax. This is crucial if you want to get pregnant.

Thirdly, know what to avoid. Quit smoking and kick caffeine and alcohol of your daily routine and diet; these reduce fertility and keep your body from absorbing nutrients you need . Give up hot baths. Instead, choose to shower, especially after sex. Soap and hot water kill sperms quite effectively. You want to avoid that.

By now you should realize that my tips for getting pregnant are intuitive. As a woman, I’ve come to realize that getting pregnant requires me to look after my own well-being and take care of my body. But more than that, my husband is an active partner in this endeavor. Make sure you and your man are on the same page and both of you want to discover how to get pregnant easy. You need each others support during this endeavor.

baby-girl1In the years I was trying to get pregnant, I’ve realized that preparing for parenthood does not begin after conception; it begins way before that. While learning how to get pregnant fast, I discovered that it’s possible to dramatically boost my chances of conception and ensure my child’s health and well-being. How do you do that? You can take steps to prepare your body for pregnancy.

Here’s what I did:

1. Doctor visit prior to pregnancy. I figure the best way to prepare for getting pregnant is to know what factors affect fertility and what I can do to boost my chances of conceiving. I’m right and you can do the same. Speak to your doctor about diet and lifestyle changes; you may need to kick some habits or remove certain favorites from your food list. Bring up medications, supplements, vitamins and all other non-food items you ingest regularly; some of these negatively impact your fertility and ability to conceive. Your doctor can switch you to less-damaging options. Discuss your medical history, your partner’s history and raise all concerns you think may affect your overall health. Your doctor can give you excellent and personalized pre-pregnancy care tips. So let me give you some tips in how to get pregnant fast!

2. Healthy habits. I made a conscious effort to live healthier even before my husband and I actually tried to get me pregnant. I’ve found this to be truly helpful so try it yourself. Quit smoking and eliminate alcohol. Gradually reduce your caffeine intake until it’s gone from your daily routine. Doing this helps your body to better absorb nutrients necessary for pregnancy. Start drinking milk daily, too. You need to strengthen your bones and your immune system as well.

3. Get enough folic acid. Be sure you’re getting enough of this everyday. My doctor told me folic acid protects my baby from brain and spinal cord defects occurring very early on in the pregnancy. So, begin your day with fortified cereal and eat sumptuous helpings of beans, spinach, asparagus and citrus fruits regularly. Experts also recommend taking a daily supplement containing folic acid of up to 400 micrograms prior to conception up to the first trimester of pregnancy.

4. Combat lead exposure. High exposure to lead significantly increases your potential for miscarriage, as well as preterm delivery. Especially if you have lead pipes, brass faucets and other similar metals in your plumbing system, your exposure is significant. Of course, I don’t recommend redoing your home’s plumbing and waterworks system; that’s not always feasible. You can however, install expert certified water filters. These remove water pollutants, including lead.
